Back in 1999, I put up a little two-flap fireworks stand on the corner. It wasn’t big or fancy—just a retirement hobby to keep me busy. But one flap turned into two, two turned into four… and before long, that hobby turned into something real.
Building the TeamShari was right there with me from the early days, keeping things running smooth. Then, in 2008, Sam joined us. The three of us established a rule we still live by today: We never buy anything we wouldn’t shoot ourselves.
The Termites Win (And We Rebuild)In 2017, the termites finally took our old stand. So, we did what Texans do—we built something better. We welded five shipping containers into one rock-solid structure: Benny’s Bad Azz Fireworks.
Expanding to WhitneyIn January 2025, we brought that same heart and family value to a brand-new store in Whitney, Texas. It’s clean, bright, and special—but the spirit is exactly the same.
